A dating platform where you discover singles or start an anonymous text or video chat straight away, with matches, messages and moderation that is always on.
The challenge
LiefdesKlik wanted to lower the barrier to online dating: visitors should be able to have a first conversation without an account, then grow into a profile, likes and matches. That calls for real-time text and video, and for safety done right: 18+, no fake profiles and no unwanted content.
Our approach
We built a bilingual web app (Dutch and English) with anonymous one-to-one text and video chats that can be tried for five minutes without an account, plus a Discover area with profiles, photos, likes, matches and lasting conversations. Messages, video and profile photos are moderated automatically, with blocking, reporting and a moderator console with two-factor authentication. Server-rendered landing pages and a blog make it easy to find.
Result
A full dating platform that is live and growing: from a first spontaneous chat to a match with a lasting conversation, safely moderated and easy to find on Google.
